Located in downtown Albuquerque, New Mexico, StudioGP, LLC is a full service architectural planning and design firm specializing in sustainable design. Our planning and design teams understand each project is unique and requires a sensitive approach to its context, climate and client. Inspired to create a clean, healthy and beautiful future, each project is a poetic exploration with close collaboration between the owner, architect and contractor. We strive to create thoughtful, responsible architecture that is informed specifically by every projects pattern of sun, wind, rain, snow and human activation & use.
With over 30 years of experience we have a wide range of expertise working on museums, educational facilities, hospitality, adaptive reuse and residential projects. From the rammed earth La Tierra Nueva house in Santa Fe to the recently completed Vladem Contemporary NM museum of Art, the leadership of StudioGP has directed the design and construction of both public and private projects. StudioGP directs the planning, design, documentation and construction administration for projects from beginning concept to final construction.
Studio GP’s successful record of accomplishment is due in large part to the consistent direct involvement of its principals in all projects. Our firm places an emphasis on promoting teamwork within the office and with its consultants. All staff members are multi-disciplined, and are active in multiple phases of each project. The firm’s size and staffing configuration allows the undertaking of multiple projects, while at the same time allowing the principals to remain intimately involved in the design and execution of all projects. Our enthusiastic devotion to the profession of architecture and appreciation of building craft has resulted in distinguished projects harmoniously built into each site’s unique and complex character.
